It’s been a while and I’m sorry. How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? Mine was ok, I’ve had better. This year was just weird for me. I did enjoy my time off from work but of course it went by too fast. Some how I got stuck with a TON of leftovers. Some from mamaw’s, some from Brandon’s mamaw’s and then some from Carols. Way too much! I am sick of Thanksgiving food, the rest is going in the trash since it’s been about a week now. Blah!
Friday was shopping day. For some reason I had a difficult time deciding if I was going to get up way before daylight to go spend some money. Before this year, I never had to decide because Mom and I would always go, usually even if we didn’t have anything particular we were going after. So for 2 or 3 days, I fought with myself. I know that sounds absolutely insane but I did. Then, after a while I realized how stupid I was being and got upset. My life has just changed. I didn’t want to be pondering if I wanted to go, I wanted to go and I wanted to go with mom, like I always have. I want to be in the Christmas spirit because I really do love it, but I truly don’t care whether I put up a tree or not. I want to argue with mom that I don’t need everything that she wants to get me cause she always spoiled me at Christmas. I want to laugh with her when we talk about what we can get mamaw that she will actually like and not want to take back. I want her to be so excited about what to get Rylan this year now that he’s a little older and plays with toys. That is how my Christmas is going so far. I have started on my Christmas shopping, I’m going to try and get it done early this year. I say that every year and it never happens, but I don’t really have that much to buy. I do need to get on my Christmas cards though….(That reminds me, #1 Jennifer, if you are reading, I wrote you back to the email address you left on here. #2 for all of you who came to Rylan’s party, I am HORRIBLE about getting Thank You Notes done, I had every intention, just never got to it! So Thank You everybody, I’m really glad you came and it was nice to see each of you)
Here are some recent pictures of Rylan.
He is walking now, still a little wobbly and clumsy but at least he’s walking. He has learned how to scream. Loud. And in public. You know those kids that scream in Wal-mart and you think, ‘my gosh, can those parents not control their kid?’ yeah, that’s me now. Don’t be so harsh, it’s not their fault! And attitude. He has a bad one sometimes. He can sure be sweet but he can be hateful too.
Just in case you don’t hear from me before Christmas, and hopefully you will, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and enjoys time with their family and friends.
